About
A few words about how I work.
I take an idea from nothing to live — alone, end to end. No handoffs, no waiting on someone else's part of the stack.
My name is Yaakov Turetsky. I'm an independent software developer based in Chicago. I build AI agents and automation — not demo scripts or proof-of-concept notebooks, but systems that run in production, on their own, handling real work for real people.
What sets my work apart is that I own the full stack. I design the interface, write the backend, configure the infrastructure, and deploy to production — all of it. That means every project is coherent: the architecture fits the problem, nothing is overbuilt, and when something needs to change I know exactly where to reach.
I'm especially drawn to the space where AI meets practical, everyday tasks — the kind of work that's invisible when it's done well. A message that gets triaged before you even see it. Inventory that updates from a single sentence. A team of agents that fans out across a problem while you do something else. That's the kind of software I want in the world, and it's what I spend my time building.
